Yo, been a while since I wrote anything... hmmm, happy fucking new years!
Heh, at 1 am on the 1st of January I was relaxing on my bed, watching some dloaded movies when I hear a slam outside, next I hear running footsteps and what sounds to be like a woman crying and yelling something. *sighs* I get up and go outside and see whats going on.
One of my neighbors was in an apt. that wasnt thier own and when I ask whats going on, they say that it was someone else and told me that it was nice that I was concerned... I hear some more screams and I tell them. "All I know is that if there is a woman crying, someone is gonna get fucked up" and with that I follow the screams.
I reach the parking lot and some other neighbors are outside watching something, and I hear them saying to each other.
Woman: "What is going on?"
Man: "I don't know, but dont get involved"
It was so pathetic.. a grown man sees a woman fighthing and screaming and he wont do anything to help, he will just watch as a woman suffers... It pisses me off so bad that I walk past them as say to them "WELL I AM!". And with taht being said and done I reach the woman in question.
She is screaming at a guy that is getting in a car, it was more than clear that she wanted to kick the crap out of him, but couldn't since she would probably get her ass kicked... aand he obviously wanted to hit her so she would stop her screaming and such. As they are about to get into a fight I jump in between them and tell them to calm the fuck down.
The woman screams and cries something about getting her shoes back from him, she kept saying "Give me back my shoes!!" and he kept saying "I dont have your shoes!" they kept reaching towards each other in means to fight, but I keep getting in the way. The dude then stands right in front of my face (yeah, he is as tall as I am... 6'4") and he had the eyes of a madman, someone that was ready to kill. He tell me.
"Dude get the fuck out of my face!!!" he clearly was about to give me a hit, but I just tell him to calm the fuck down and give her the shoes and get it over with, I bluffed and said that the neighbors standing outside already called the police and that he should jsut give it back and leave. He sat on his car and tried to close the door, but I stood in between the door and the car and he couldnt close it. He was getting reaaaaally pissed let me tell you.. and that woman keeps screaming to give her the shoes back.
While he was distracted with me and telling me to get out of his way, the woman reached insde the car and searched for her shoes, the guy began pushing her back; and that is when she found one shoe and now demanded for the other one. After much stuggle she gets it out of the car and she is just on her knees crying and gathering her stuff she dropped on the ground.
The guy got in the car again and tried to close the door again, but I was in the way still.. I wasnt about to let him leave without knowing that she had everything that was hers. So I ask her "You got everything!?" And somehow she managed to say yes. And so I let the guy go.
He speeds off and the woman started to walk back to her apartment, the neighbors were still outside just staring.. It pissed me off that they didn't help at ALL that I tell them "Great job CHICKENS!"
(yeah I know.. chickens.. I had adrenaline running high, it was the first thing I thought of =p )
I decide to escort the woman to her apt.. and that is when she says something about a knife... I look at her hands and there it is... a knife... it turns out that the guy had a knife and she took it away from him... I yank it out of her hands, break it and throw it away.
Finally at her apt she could barely say anything other than thank you, I told her that if she ever needed me to knock on my door... after that, all I could do was smile and say "Happy newyears" and with that I closed the door to her apt. behind me and go back to my bed and keep watching movies.
Til' today, she hasnt knocked.. I guess that is a good thing cuz it means that he hasn't bothered her again.
Anyways... that was my first experience this year. What a way to start, huh?
